The character i created was a cat named tabby. Right now all i have done is her blogger account. I have included a picture and i plan to add more. Oh and i also have a flickr account as well. I mainly tell almost each day through her point of view. What she does and about her life. Shes a brown/white/black cat that is 1 1/2 years old. She lives with her "roommates" and her sister Lucy. I am going to create a facebook and myspace account for her and hopefully shell have friends eventually. For the google map part of the assignment i'm going to pretend that she goes outside and meets other cats and such. I also may add drama to the story and pretend that tabby disappears and no one knows where she is. The google map part can also be a map of where she went when she was so called missing or where everyone rememberd she was before she disappeared. This is still in the works and i have more things i need to do and add therefore nothing is set in stone. I may alter what i have somewhat but other than that this is pretty much it. Project 3
How i can try to use what i learned about online caroline in my project could be several ways. If i make a myspace or a facebook page i could respond to my friends like someone is actually there. However, it could be difficult because my character is a cat and in reality they cannot answer. I can add a twist in the story to keep people interested maybe by making my cat disappear. Then they may be wondering what happened to her and where she went or when shell be back. Other than that i am unsure of how to actually use someone to "game" because my character is a cat.

More thoughts on Project 3
As of right now I'm not sure of who I'm going to be. I was considering using a cat/kitten or maybe being a model. If I were to use the cat I could include pictures of them doing different activities since I have 2 cats of my own. I could also make a map of where they go and make them have friends on Facebook. If I was a model I could also include the friends they could have on facebook. I could also make them travel around the world for modeling jobs.

REFLECTION:
I thought that this was a really interesting project. I never really had a blog before this nor did I ever use Google Maps. I think that Google Maps is a really cool program and it's a great way to show people where you have been. I also really liked the idea of this whole project because it is such a unique way to tell someone a story. Using all the different links and hypertext is a good way to keep someone interested in what's going to happen next. And it is much more unique and interesting than just sitting there and reading plain text. Overall, I thought this was a really cool first project and I really have learned a lot from start to finish.

Pictures
I have several pictures from the vacation I took to Disney World this past summer. I practically have a day to day account of everything we did during this trip. Because I have all these pictures I can give a picture for the day to day events that I have told throughout my story. They could be added just about anywhere I have a picture that would help describe my story better. I think it would be better to add them directly to the blog instead of providing a link to Flickr. The pictures could be of the place itself or the people involved. They would add to the story because if the readers could not only read a description of the event but also be able to see images they can actually pretend and feel as if they themselves were there!
Putting together story 1
The story is made up of a beginning trip to Disney World from Myrtle Beach and ending in Frederick Maryland. The middle part of the story describes the events that led up to my best friends 21st birthday, then the great week we spent in Disney World following her birthday. They story is a contest because it tells a quest or a journey. The drama is the party itself including the events that day that led up to it. Then, the different things we did that week while in Disney World. These include going to the parks, swimming, going out at night and eating. The beginning and end are car rides that is where the adventure started and concluded. The time line is one week. The dates I don't know off the top of my head but i can figure them out. It occurred in June. It is going to be segmented on the important parts of the trip. Obviously if I were to explain everything that happened in a week it would take a very long time. This way I can cover the highlights of the trip and the interesting parts. Basically there will be 7 different events that I will cover, roughly one per day. The roles and characters that are throughout my story include the people that went with me. These people include my boyfriend Chris, my best friend who turned 21 Mallory and her boyfriend Serge, then her friend Allison and her boyfriend Matt. Then there were several others that came throughout the week including Mallory's family and other friends.

Ideas for assignment one
I am considering telling one of two stories for assignment 1.
The first story happened this summer when i went to Disney World for my friends 21st birthday. I haven't been to Disney since I was four years old. We drove down, the four of us and stayed for a week. Her mom rented out a bar in pleasure island and we got to go to all the different bars located in paradise island. It was such a fun adventure for the entire week, we got to go to all the different parks with hopper passes, and go out during the evening. Overall, the week was an amazing adventure and we got to do a lot of very fun and interesting activities.
The second story is when I attended a murder mystery party at the Elk's Lounge last semester. It was really fun we all got a character we had to dress up like and act their part. We had objectives and background that our character had to meet. The whole night revolved around trying to find out who the killer was at the "juice joint" it was themed back to mobsters and flapper girls. We got to bribe people with money and you could form allies to share your information with. Overall, everyone was having a great time and having fun while playing the game. We met new people and raised money for the MBA Program at West Virginia University.
I was involved with these two events and they actually happened to me so it shouldn't be difficult to come up with the story and details. I also have pictures from both events so that will help with the Flicker part of the assignment.
